In a direct effort to positively affect the lives of young people in Colorado, The INTERNATIONAL is leading the way for junior golf throughout the state. Along with its junior golf partners, the First Tee, Gold Crown Junior Golf, the Colorado PGA Foundation and Open Fairways, The INTERNATIONAL will once again be at the forefront of junior golf in the state.

YOUTH Day at The INTERNATIONAL
July 2, 2007, Castle Pines Golf Club
this is a special day of the tournament week because it is devoted just to kids. Ticketed adults may bring in as many juniors, ages 12 and under, as they can gather — for free! the first 1500 juniors receive a free gift, autograph booklet and lunch on YOUTH Day. this day features the Pro-Junior Challenge in the morning and demonstration clinics on the driving range in the afternoon. The Pro-Junior Challenge
the Pro-Junior Challenge is a once in a lifetime opportunity for juniors from all corners of the state to play with a PGA TOUR Professional on a tournament course during a tournament week. Eight deserving junior golf participants will be selected to play in a five-hole competition, along side four PGA TOUR professionals. the selections will be based on an on line application process that emphasizes school performance, community activity, sportsmanship and citizenship more heavily than golfing ability. this year’s event will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at Castle Pines Golf Club.
